How do I get there?
Walk south from the trainstation to the river Rhine, a little west from the towncentre.
The Citadel, as I call it, is in no way an old castle, it is a hill with stand-alone walls and the Boulevard in no way an avenue but a it is a narrow road for cyclists. Both not easy for the disabled.
Nevertheless the river gives a feeling of space. Enjoy!

The Citadel
This location is part of a large work of environmental art by Dutch artist Peter Struijken with blue waves surrounding the traffic circuit. What has ever been the idea about this particulair place stays unclear to me.
De Citadel
Deze plek is deel van een groot omgevingskunstwerk met blauwe golven door Peter Struijken. De blauwe golven omgeven het verkeerscircuit. Wat ooit het idee was met deze plek is nooit helder voor me geweest.
